The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
