Automobiles in Germany's City Discovered Smeared with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement Confirm

Approximately 50 automobiles have been covered with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the Germany's town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by law enforcement.

Cars, exterior walls and mailboxes were vandalized, sometimes with prohibited symbols, they announced in a statement.

Officers report they were notified during the night on Wednesday evening, when a man discovered that a car in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been marked with a reddish-hued fluid.

The substance had been drawn in the pattern of a banned symbol, they added.

Officers then discovered numerous other marked cars and residential walls in the surrounding area.

Nazi symbols are banned in Germany under legislation outlawing the public exhibition of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement report initial examinations show the liquid was most likely human blood.

"At present there remains no clue as to its origin; officials are currently not cognizant of any harm in relation with the event," they stated.

City officials stated they were working "to unravel the mystery" and have appealed to the community for information.

A high-ranking representative stated the attack rendered him speechless and needed to be solved quickly.

"This act affects the center of Hanau and revives the pain of the far-right violent incident half a decade ago," he wrote on a platform, referring to the murder of nine victims by a assailant aiming at people of immigrant origin in five years prior.
